150th Celebration

Normal Celebrates 150 Years in 2015

Circus acts, Route 66, draft horses and Jesse Fell are among historical people, places and things celebrated during Normal 1-5-0, the observance of the Town’s founding in 1865. If you missed one of the six lecture series that were presented, watch all recorded lectures on the Town of Normal's YouTube Channel.

Additionally, over 50 History Boards were completed and are viewable online. The History Board Program was a crowd-sourced history project from area businesses, institutions, organizations and families. Each entity took the time to preserve their historical impact on the Town through facts, stories and pictures.

Thank you to all those who helped plan, volunteered and attended the great events in 2015!
