The Town of Normal will receive sealed proposals for the following:


Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "2021 Sump Pump Discharge & Storm Sewer Improvements" with the time and date of the opening, which will be Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Illinois 61761. 

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 11:30 am via Microsoft Teams.  A link will be sent on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 to all plan holders of record.

This project consists of approximately 5,350 FT of Pipe Drain, 6”, 1,700 FT of Trench Backfill, 1,100 SF of Sidewalk Removal, 643 SY of Driveway Removal, 90 FT of Combination Concrete Curb & Gutter Removal & Replacement, 643 SY of PCC Driveway Pavement, 6”, 735 SF of PCC Sidewalk, 4”, 365 SF of PCC Sidewalk, 6” and all other necessary items and incidentals required to complete this project according to the plans and specifications. This is a prevailing wage project.

Bid documents are available electronically from the Town of Normal website at  The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final.
