Bryan Street Water Main Replacement
The Town of Normal Water Department will receive sealed bids for the following:
BRYAN STREET WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT
Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bryan Street Watermain Replacement" with the time and date of the opening, which will be March 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Illinois 61761.
Any questions regarding this bid will be addressed at a Pre-Bid Conference to be held on March 7, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. prevailing time, at the Ron Hill Room – 3rd Floor, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Illinois 61761, per project documents. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening.
State statutes and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and
subcontractors on this job. Bid Forms and Specifications may be obtained from the Issuing Office, Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, 203 Harrison Street, Peoria, Illinois 61602. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly on Mondays through Fridays between the hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of $40 for each set, which shall be non-refundable. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Crawford, Murphy & Tilly. The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedures. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final.
