The Town of Normal is currently accepting quotes for:

Normal Police Department- Weight Room Flooring Replacement

Quotes must be submitted to Mark Clinch, Director of Facilities and Energy Management, no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 prevailing time.  A project site visit scheduled for Tuesday January 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Town staff will manage the project and trade specific contractors shall anticipate coordination with all other contractors to reach substantial completion on or before March 30, 2018.  Actual project schedule will be established at a pre-construction meeting with all relevant parties.

Quotes may be submitted in person, by mail, by fax, by email or other means of delivery.  Any questions regarding this quote shall be addressed by the listed project contact.

Pursuant to the Purchasing Manual, Town staff may purchase goods and services less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) in cost by obtaining quotes from three (3) or more vendors.  Although cost is an important factor, a quote is not a bid and Town staff may accept any quote submitted whether or not it is the lowest cost.  Quotes for the referenced product or service must be received in the office of the listed point of contact by the submission deadline described above.  The Town will only review quotes actually received and the risk of loss in transmission is on the vendor submitting the quote.  Vendors are encouraged to verify receipt with the identified point of contact prior to the deadline. 

State statutes and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job.  Project documents may be obtained from the listed point of contact.  The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all quotes received and to waive any formalities in the solicitation procedures.  The contract award will be made by staff and their decision will be final.
