On-Street and Surface Parking Lots
Free, on-street and surface parking is available throughout the Uptown area. Please obey all posted time restrictions as regulations are strictly enforced. The majority of spaces are designated as one or two hour maximum.
Parking Decks
The Town of Normal operates two parking decks in the Uptown area. The College Avenue Parking Deck is located just east of the Normal Public Library and the Heartland Bank Building. It has entrances off of College Avenue and Mulberry Street and is also boarded by Constitution Boulevard. The Beaufort Street Parking Deck is located at the corner of Beaufort and Broadway. This deck contains a skywalk into the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
Parking at the Beaufort Street Deck is always $1 per hour. Parking at the College Avenue Deck is currently free in the evenings (6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) and all day on Sundays. At all other times, the hourly rate at the College Avenue Deck is $1.00. At the College Avenue Deck only, your first hour in the deck is always free! Validation for the College Street Deck is available for patrons of the Normal Public Library. There is a $6 maximum charge for 8 hours of parking and a maximum 24 hour charge of $8.
Both parking decks operate on a ticket system. Daily parkers will be required to take a ticket upon entry into the deck. After your visit in Uptown is complete you will need to take your ticket to one of the conveniently located pay stations in the deck. Insert your ticket into the pay station and follow the directions for payment. A new ticket will be provided after proper payment is received. That ticket will be used to raise the lift gates as you exit the deck. Both parking decks accept cash, credit and debit payments.
Monthly permits are available at both decks. Please call Heartland Parking at (309) 451-5380 for information and rates.
