Uptown Construction Updates
The
long-awaited uptown infrastructure improvement project has begun!
Please refer to this webpage, the

or the uptown hotline 433-FIND often for new information when it
becomes available.
Getting to uptown Normal is still easy and now is a very exciting time to visit! Remember, Linden Street is a great way to get to uptown Normal. This street will be virtually unaffected by uptown construction, and the newly completed Parkinson parking lot (located behind Wild Country) is easily accessible from Linden!

What to expect coming up as of 9/7/2008:
- Access to all businesses will be maintained.
- College Ave. between Broadway & Linden is currently
reduced to one lane of traffic until further notice.
- Mulberry between Fell & Linden will be reduced to one
lane of traffic until further notice.
- The intersection of Beaufort & Broadway is currently
closed through approximately early 2009.
- Beaufort between Fell and Constitution Trail is
currently closed through approximately early 2009.
- Constitution Trail between Mulberry & the railroad
tracks is currently closed through approximately late 2009
