Brush

Sticks, branches, rose bush cuttings, brush or shrubbery trimmings and large
ornamental grasses (over 3' in length) will be picked up by our brush crew.

Pine cones should not be included with brush; please include with garbage/household waste

Instructions for Collection

  • Place brush out for pick-up on your regular waste collection day by 6 a.m. or after 6 p.m. the evening before.
  • Brush from contractor work will not be collected.
  • Place brush loose behind the curb in an orderly pile. Do not place in a cart, can or bag.
  • Do not place brush in the street.
  • Brush should not block the sidewalk or block vision when backing out of the driveway.
  • Do not combine brush with other landscape waste (i.e. leaves), garbage or bulky waste.
  • Limbs should be no longer than 12 feet in length and no heavier than 500 lbs.
  • Due to the type of vehicles used for collection, do not place brush under low-hanging trees or wires, by utility poles, signs, on the street or within 3 feet of garbage carts or other obstructions.
  • Do not place brush on or near water shut off valves.
