The Public Works Department provides a diverse range of services through Public Works Administration and four operating divisions. Public Works responsibilities are primarily related to public infrastructure and environmental services.
Waste Removal - Performs weekly curbside collection and disposal of household waste, landscape waste, bulky solid waste, brush and recycling.
Fleet Maintenance - Coordinates routine maintenance and repair of the Town’s vehicle fleet and all major specialized units of equipment.
Street Maintenance - Responsible for the maintenance of streets including repair, snow removal, ice control, street sweeping and street striping. This division also provides vacuum leaf collection each fall.
Sewer Maintenance - Maintains and repairs all public storm and sanitary sewers, manholes and pump stations.
